Dharmik Barot is a dual-licensed attorney licensed to practice law in India and New York. He embarked on his legal journey by obtaining a bachelor's degree in law from Nirma University in Ahmedabad, India, in 2016. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Barot demonstrated a keen interest in International Humanitarian Law, immersing himself in subjects such as the Convention against Torture and the Refugee Convention. Determined to further his legal education and expertise, Mr. Barot pursued a Master of Law (LLM) degree from the renowned Cardozo School of Law in New York. In his professional career, Mr. Barot has garnered valuable experience representing clients before the High Court of Gujarat and various tribunals in India. Additionally, he is a dedicated advocate for immigrants and actively engages with the Executive Office of Immigration Review, supporting individuals navigating complex immigration processes.
